How it goes
A seated ceremony around a low table for twelve people at most. One leaf is poured again and again while it changes across the steepings, with long silences between rounds.
The host pours from a low side table, so the kettle stays off the floor and away from anyone seated. Cups are passed by hand, in order, without hurry.
People who would rather sit and pay attention than lie down.
What to expect

- Conversation only between rounds
